The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has revealed that Nigeria’s presidency isn’t for good and righteous people but for those who are otherwise.
In a statement signed by his media aide, the prophet made it known that it is only people who can be regarded as criminals, based on their records that can attain the seat of presidency in the country.
He made it known that a holy and righteous person can never become the president of the country due to the corrupt system that is allergic to any form of holiness.
“It is only a criminal that can be a president in Nigeria. The presidency is not for holy or good people. If you are righteous, you can never become a president in Nigeria. If you don’t have a lion’s heart, you cannot be somebody in Nigeria”
The prophet made it known that the system has become corrupt and it would be difficult for anyone who doesn’t have corruption embedded in his or her system to rule a corrupt system.
He explained that it is the reason corruption will not end in the country despite the establishment of various anti-corruption agencies in the country. He also made it known it would be impossible for Nigeria to actually progress with corrupt leaders in power.
“Corrupt leaders are the reason Nigeria is going through hard times at the moment, it’s impossible for a corrupt leader to make the country better because all he would be thinking about is how much he can make from the country. We need an upright person to lead us but it’s not possible in the current Nigerian system.”
Furthermore, Primate Ayodele made it known that Nigerian leaders do not fear God because of the corrupt system they operate in, noting that they only attend religious gatherings for political reasons.
“I am not surprised we don’t have leaders that fear God. Any God-fearing person will not even be allowed to get to the top and when you see these people at religious gatherings, it’s not out of the fear of God but for political reasons.”
