The Met Police had reported that a woman was allegedly led into the car of a bouncer from the venue and raped.

The Heaven nightclub, London was shut with its licence revoked due to the charge of rape of a woman brought against a security staff member of the club.

Westminster Council ruled that Heaven would not be able to open its doors for 28 days.

The Met Police had reported that a woman was allegedly led into the car of a bouncer from the venue and raped.

It was also claimed that other security staff did not call the police when she tried to report the alleged incident.

The accused, Morenikeji Adewole of Dunlop Close, Dartford, was charged with rape earlier this week on Wednesday, November 13 while a man known as Olu Julius or Olusolu Alabi also appeared at Westminster’ Magistrates Court on Thursday, November 14, MyLondon has reported.

The 47-year-old has since been remanded in custody and will appear at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday, December 11.

Following the incident, which reportedly took place on November 1, Westminster Council found that the licence for the nightclub should be suspended until a full hearing can take place. This means it cannot open for the time being.

The decision took effect on Friday, November 15 and will remain in force until Thursday, December 12, the magazine reported.
