The Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Hashimu Argungu has warned that any candidate making an attempt to bribe an official to get admitted into the Police Academy, Kano, will be immediately disqualified.
A statement by the spokesperson for the PSC Ikechukwu Ani, said Argungu gave the warning when he paid a visit to the academy, to oversee the 2024 Post-JAMB admission screening process.
The statement quoted Argugungu as saying: “Any candidate negotiating to pay money for consideration should be weeded out. The process must run on merit and transparency.”
He also said, “The commission will ensure the academy is run on merit and fairness and accountability and transparency must be their watchword.”
