Sanwo-Olu to host town hall on security

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will on December 18, 2024  host the  18th edition of the annual Lagos State town hall meeting on security.

The event according to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, on Wednesday, would be a major summit for stakeholders in the security sector.

According to the statement the event which would be held at the Lagos House Ikeja is themed: “Data & Technology Driven Security: The Way Forward.”

He said the meeting would feature  the presentation of patrol vehicles and other equipment to security operatives.

He  also said the Lagos State Security Trust Fund Executive Secretary, Rasaq Balogun, would render an account of his stewardship .

He added that security chiefs  in Lagos would address the summit.
