Why I avoided wearing short outfits – Moyo Lawal

Popular Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has shed light on why she rarely steps out in short outfits or leaves her house dressed provocatively.

In a recent Instagram post, the actress shared a video of herself twerking during the premiere of the movie Thinline.

The lively performance was part of the event’s “Sin City Glam” dress code, which encouraged risqué and bold fashion choices.

Explaining her outfit choice and the event’s impact on her, Moyo hinted that wearing short clothes often emboldens her to express herself freely, including dancing energetically at public events.

“This is why I never wear short things out or leave my house,” she wrote. “Then you give me a dress code like ***Sincityglam (risqué and racy). Come on now.”

The actress also revealed she took charge of her own makeup for the event, seeking feedback from her fans on her skills.

Her ensemble for the premiere was designed by Gwills Designs, with Moyo adding a humorous note about her creative demands. “Dress and ensemble @gwillsdesigns, who is definitely tired of my wahala and scary ideas I bring,” she joked.
