Actress Merit Gold under fire over erotic Christmas photos

Nollywood actress Merit Gold Eberechi has faced heavy criticism following the release of her Christmas-themed photos on Instagram.

The actress shared sultry pictures of herself posing in a revealing Christmas one-piece outfit, showcasing her figure while standing next to a Christmas tree.

Accompanying the photos, Merit Gold captioned:

“Just me and my Christmas tree. Happy Christmas everyone.”

While some fans celebrated her festive spirit, the provocative nature of the photos drew backlash from a significant number of followers who criticized her choice of attire as inappropriate for the season.

One Instagram user, Rose Okpo, commented:
“Can’t she be decent? Christmas is a solemn reflection of Christ. We do too much.”

Another user, Marbsrex,stated:
