In a fiery social media post on Tuesday, U.S. President-elect, Donald Trump blasted Senate Democrats for what he describes as efforts to “improperly stall and delay” the confirmation process of his nominees.
Trump, who claimed a “historic landslide” victory and a strong mandate from the American people, accused Democrats of attempting to disrupt the process with “all sorts of tricks.”
“We just won a Historic Landslide and Mandate from the American People,” Trump wrote, urging Republicans to remain firm in the face of the opposition’s tactics.
He expressed frustration with the delays, insisting that the country has pressing issues that need immediate attention, most of which, according to him, were caused by Democrats.
