Nigerian teen comedian, Emmanuella Samuel, has refuted claims circulating online that she was lodged in a hotel with a man.

The controversy began after a video she shared went viral. In the clip, Emmanuella is seen dancing in a bedroom.

Observant fans noticed a person lying on the bed, partially unclothed, and speculated that the individual was a man who had booked the hotel room for her.

Addressing the rumours, Emmanuella clarified that the person seen in the video is not a man but a woman wearing bum shorts.

A TikTok user, identified as Dolly, commented on the video, insinuating, “Man don go lodge Emmanuella.” In response, Emmanuella stated, “Man dey wear bum short ???”
