Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has raised the alarm after he said he received threats following his recent New Year message.

In a post on social media, Obi questioned whether his message had crossed a line, citing threats directed at his life, family, and associates.

Obi alleged that among the individuals who voiced opposition was Mr. Felix Morka, who accused him of overstepping boundaries and warned of consequences.

Obi shared the disturbing messages with his followers, urging those who missed his New Year address to watch it, stressing his unwavering commitment to speaking out against what he perceived as a growing trend toward authoritarianism in the country.
