Vinicius Junior grabbed a brace as Real Madrid held Bayern Munich to a 2-2 in Germany in the first leg of their champions league semi-final match on Tuesday.

Real Madrid opened the scoring in the 24th minute. It was a Superb work from Toni Kroos, who played a vital role in the build-up. He squared it to Vinicius Junior, who beat Manuel Neuer with a brilliant shot into the bottom right corner to make it 0-1.

In the 42nd minute, Harry Kane produced a shot from a direct free kick on the edge of the box. His effort sailed narrowly wide of the left post.

Bayern equalised in the 53rd minute of the match. Leroy Sane made a great solo run and pulled the trigger from inside the box, beating Andriy Lunin with a strike into the right side of the goal.

Four minutes later, Bayern doubled their lead from the penalty spot. Harry Kane won the battle of wills and sent an unstoppable penalty past Andriy Lunin into the bottom left corner to make it 2-1.

In the 67th minute, Eric Dier wasted a great chance from the resulting corner to have extended Bayern’s lead. He timed his header superbly when he leapt high to meet a precise cross, but could not aim better than low towards the middle of the goal, straight into the arms of the goalkeeper.

Vinicius Junior, in the 79th minute received a precise pass and was given time inside the box to send a promising strike towards the middle of the goal. Manuel Neuer guessed his intention and denied him with a fine save.

Madrid equalised in the 83rd minute from the penalty spot. Vinicius Junior put the ball into the middle of the goal past the outstretched arm of Manuel Neuer to make it 2-2.
