Fashola's Supporters Meet At Campos Square

Supporters of Governor Babatunde Fashola under the aegis of The Continuity Team (TCT) will tomorrow gather at the Campos Square, Lagos Island, Nigeria, to mark the annual Children’s Day.

A statement signed by the group’s publicity chairman, Babatunde Folawiyo-Lisboa disclosed that the occasion would be used to showcase the achievements of Governor Fashola in office.

“School children, teachers, parents and all pro-active citizens who believe in prudence, transparency and prompt dividends of democracy want Fashola to continue in office, come 2011,” he stated.

Octogenarians, Igbo, Hausa communities and other interest groups in and around Lagos are expected at the event.

“The Continuity Team, led by Chief Dapo Durosimi-Etti is garnering support for Governor Fashola to continue in office because we know he will do more in 2011 and beyond,” Folawiyo-Lisboa added.
