As the first World Cup on African soil ended Sunday, M-Net has announced that the continental television reality show ‘Big Brother Africa’ will hit television screens on 18 July, with an ‘All Starsâ€
P.M.News learnt that the 2010 edition of BBA will feature some of the most unforgettable, outspoken, entertaining housemates of previous editions to compete for the ultimate prize.
According to Biola Alabi, M-Net Africa Managing Director, this yearâ€
“All the housemates, both those included in the new show and those who are not on this series, are the true stars of the Big Brother Africa story and we want to celebrate them in all their glory. What better way than to bring back some of the fansâ€
She noted that with the stakes now raised, it means this season will be more strategic than ever before.
“With all the housemates having played the game previously, they each will come into the new season equipped with more insight and knowledge into the world of alliances, conspiracy and tactics,†Alabi explained.
While keeping the names of the All Stars secret till the day of the launch, M-Net has confirmed that it will offer the first look at the new house when it releases sneak peek images;Â as well as a reveal the superstar artistes lined up for the opening show.
