Lawmakers Desert House Over Alleged Probe

The premises of the Plateau State House of Assembly has been deserted following the alleged petition against some legislators by members of their constituencies.

A News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent, who visited the Assembly complex, reported that none of the 24 legislators was found in the premises.

Normally, the Assembly sits from Tuesday to Thursday, in addition to committee sittings and oversight functions.
