Fire Guts Oloyede’s House

A blazing inferno has wreaked havoc, reducing Jide Oloyede’s two-room apartment at 12, Ajose  Street in Shomolu to rubbles at the weekend.

The incident occurred while Oloyede, the elder brother of the famous Taiwo Oloyede of  Stationery Stores fame, was attending training session with the Managers FC.

The team were preparing for the forthcoming friendly tie against Stationery Stores in honour  of Yomi Peters, who celebrated his 70th birthday this weekend. Peters is a member of the  Lagos Divisional Football Association, LDFA, headed by Dotun Coker.

Oloyede’s valuables including a television set, refrigerator, rug and chairs were razed  before fire-fighters came to the rescue of other tenants in the house.
