The final of Church Cup will hold on Saturday at the Sky Power football pitch, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The final will be played between the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Kings Church. Before the final ceremony, Bishop Viney Memorial Church will confront Assembly of God for the third place match.
Chairman, Organising Committee, Chibuzor Godwin, has commended all the churches that registered for the championship and rated the organisation,officiating and standard of play high.
‘I must confess that all the participating churches really played well during the competition. This is to tell you that the Nigerian churches now have  better understanding of the game,’ he said.
He also praised the teams for the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited throughout the competition and promised to organise a better tourney in the next edition.
‘We have not recorded any soccer violence during and after the tournament. All the teams  know the rules governing the game and abided by them. I wish the next edition will be  glamorous than this,’ he said.
