Dafinone's Son Eyes Senate

A scion of the Dafinone Family, Chief Ede Dafinone, has told leaders of the Okpe nation that he stands for good governance and integrity and would do everything possible to protect the people’s rights to professional representation, sustainable economic development, quality education, job creation, improved healthcare services and poverty alleviation through empowerment.

Chief Dafinone who is seeking to represent Delta Central in the Senate in the 2011 elections in Delta State, said he had been content with the little he was doing for fellow human beings within the circumference of his reach and means, until he was convinced that he could have a wider platform to render more beneficial services to humanity as a politician.

Dafinone who was at the headquarters of Okpe Union in Lagos to ask for the support of the Okpe people to actualize his senatorial ambition said if elected, he would bring his professional knowledge and experience to bear on a wide range of public policy issues and topics.
