This collaboration featured talented cultural performers and dancers from Nike Art Centre during a vibrant and exciting music video shoot directed by the renowned Femi Lasode. The video production brilliantly showcased the integration of Scottish and African music traditions.

The productions, which include best-selling videos titled Scottish Essence, African Mood, and Step Up Tempo, quickly captured the attention of major TV stations in Nigeria, such as NTA, and AIT. The Afro-Celtic music produced with bagpipes reflects a pioneering spirit in the Nigerian music landscape, uniting diverse traditions in a way that appeals to a wide audience.

Piper Norman’s groundbreaking work is particularly noteworthy for its masterful fusion of classic Esan (Edo) and Yoruba rhythms with the sound of the bagpipe. This innovative blend makes him a significant figure in music history, recognized as the first European musician to incorporate bagpipes into African music in Nigeria.
