The General Overseer of the Global Success Ministries, Bishop (Dr.) Emmanuel Chima Okereke, has joined the call for Nigerians to turn out massively in the forthcoming voters’ registration exercise and be prepared to defend their votes as well as also pray for peaceful and successful conduction of the elections.
The bishop, who made this call weekend, said Christians would no longer fold their hands and watch politicians destroy the nation’s future, adding that they would object to any attempt by anybody to rig the elections and plunge the country into anarchy.
He predicted that after 29 May, 2011 hand over, corrupt political office holders in the country would begin to die one after the other if they refused to change.
Okereke, who said he was delivering the voice of God to Nigerians and all corrupt politicians, warned those seeking political offices in the coming elections to desist from corruption, otherwise they would face God’s destruction.
Addressing a press conference in Lagos on The state of the nation: Nigeria after 50 years of independence, he advised those who want to indulge in corruption to change their mind “because God has already sent His angel of death who has started a survey of corrupt office holders.â€
