Sharks skipper, Odinga Odinga, will back Victor Ezeji to finish as Goal King in the Nigeria Premier  League this season.

Veteran Sharks striker netted his fifth goal at the weekend and thereafter told MTNFootball.com he  wants to set a new goals record in the Nigeria Premier League this season

“He will be goal king of the league again. He’s a player born to score goals and I know he will score  even more for Sharks this season,” Odinga Odinga said.

The 29-year-old Ezeji is enjoying a rich vein of form after he helped Sharks to break a 38-year-old  jinx to win their first major piece of silverware, the WAFU Cup, recently.

His form has already earned him a recall to the Super Eagles, six years after his last call-up to the  national team.

He has made six appearances with the national team and besides reviving his international career, he  has not ruled out the possibility of moving overseas again.

“If another opportunity comes for me to play outside Nigeria, I will grab it. Every good player wants  to play overseas because it affords you more exposure,” he said.
