Warri Wolves’ Ehiosun Ekigho is celebrating his debut goal for Nigeria.
The Nigeria Premier League star, scored the second goal for the Super Eagles during yesterday’s friendly match against Sierra Leone in Lagos.
Ehigho, who replaced injured Emmanuel Emenike before the end of first half, changed the tempo of the match and scored the team’s winning in the 44th minute. He flicked home a cross from Inter Milan star, Joel Obi.
An elated Ehigho, said he had a double achievement in yesterday’s game.
“This is a landmark in my career. I saw my golden moment approaching when Coach Siasia invited me among the best players in the NPL. I’m a happy player.”
