A socio-political group, Coalition for Oodua Self-Determination Groups, COSEG, has adopted Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon (GOS) for a second term in the Senate.
In a statement jointly signed by its president and general secretary, Dayo Ogunlana and Rasak Oloko-Oba, respectively, COSEG explained that there was no need changing a winning team, adding that ”GOS has proved himself to be a power to reckon with in the Senate.
“When talking of effective representation and robust debate on the floor of the upper chamber, Senator Solomon has proved himself beyond reasonable doubt that he is not a push over.
“He exhibits courage, political dexterity and democratic intelligence to convince political Lilliputian. This is not a surprise to us because his experience as a former local government chairman, a former House of Representatives member must have equipped him for the job.
“In fact, his complete political metamorphosis has qualified him to hold any political office anywhere in the world.
“Against this backdrop, we endorse him for a second term and commend his party, ACN, for giving him the ticket to go for a second term. We urge the people of Lagos West to vote en masse for the ACN candidates in the coming April polls,†COSEG stated.
