Residents of Lambe, Akute in Ogun State have appealed to Governor Ibikunle Amosun to come to their aid by repairing the road from Lambe to Akute before heavy rains begin. The road, they claimed, was neglected by the former governor of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.

A resident of the community, Mr. Isaac Adebayo congratulated the governor on his victory at the polls and appealed to him to construct a new drainage from from Ijoko to Akute to take care of the flooding of the area.

He urged the governor to emulate Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State by rehabilitating all the roads on the outskirts of the state.

Another resident, Mr. Akiolu Adegbite, a banker, explained that he used to leave home around 5 a.m. for his office in Lagos so as not to be caught in the traffic jam caused by the bad roads.
