Akiolu made the statement during the capping and installation of Alhaji Nurudeen Olubiyi Agoro as the Ojon-elect of Lagos at his palace in Lagos recently, after he was nominated by the Ojon Chieftaincy family.
He maintained that it is only when the community and state is at peace that the rulers could discharge their duties without fear.
The event was witnessed by members of the Lagos State Council of Traditional Chiefs as well as members of the Ojon Chieftaincy Family led by the Chairman, Alhaji Adisa Shadeko and Secretary of the family, Hon Tajudeen Agoro.
Hon. Agoro said the stool of Ojon is important to the family and recalled that Ojon was the first chief to represent Lagos State in the House of Representatives and the family cannot allow the throne to be vacant for ever.
