The Lagos State House of Assembly this morning beefed up security measures as the lawmakers resumed from a two-week break.
This, according to a source within the Assembly complex is to forestall any breach of security at the House.
Private security guards employed by the House to replace officials of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, were seen ensuring security checks on every visitor to the House.
They also registered every property belonging to the visitors. Even vehicles were seen being searched and their owners registered.
