Buruj Football Club of Ikorodu have booked a place in the second round after defeating Udoh FC 2-1 in the first round of the Boska Cup .

Buruj boss, Salaudeen Waheed, praised his team for their victory in the first match.

Waheed said their victory in the first match is a clear indication that the team are good for the trophy.

“Our best outing in the previous edition was quarter final but we want to go beyond the stage in this tournament.

“My team are equal to the task and ready to face any opponents that come their way in the next round,” he said.
