Wrestling Federation Suspends Coach

The Nigeria Wrestling Federation has suspended Rivers and Kaduna states wrestling coaches for putting the game into disrepute.

The two coaches, according to the president of the federation, Austin Edeze, engaged each other in physical confrontation, following fierce competition between wrestlers from the two states.

Edeze, who acknowledged the high competitive spirit exhibited by the wrestlers, said he is disappointed with the actions of the coaches who ought to be the guiding light for wrestlers.

He confirmed that the two men have been suspended,warning that the federation would not spare any official who tries to drag the name of the federation in the mud.
