Christ Miracle Church Mission, CMCM, football team will have their hands full when they confront CFC Football Club of Ijora on Monday in the second round of the Boska Cup.
The encounter promises to be explosive as both teams will play their hearts out, knowing fully well that the tourney is on knockout basis
Speaking ahead of the encounter, CMCM team manger, Tunde Ogunnoiki, warned their opponents to prepare for war when both clash on Monday afternoon.
“It is going to be a tough encounter because all the teams that qualified for the second round of the competition are better teams, so we need to come out like a wounded lion and approach our next game like a cup final,†he said.
On the chances of his team in the Boska Cup, Ogunnoiki popularly known as gambler, boasted that he is not in the tourney for jamboree, saying that their target is to be in the final.
“We were in the final two years ago and I believe that we can still reach the final again. We are aware of the task ahead but with determination and doggedness, I see my team being in the final,†he said.
