Investigate Boko Haram, Abiara Tells Jonathan

General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara has called on the Goodluck Jonathan administration to carry out a thorough investigation of the destructive Islamic fundamentalist sect, Boko Haram, in order to identify their leaders and invite them for a dialogue.

Prophet Abiara who disclosed this after his sermon at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, noted that by doing this the president will be able to understand their grievances and provide solution.

He submitted that force cannot be used to subdue the Boko Haram adherents but dialogue will.

“It is obvious that Satan is fighting against Nigeria to destroy it. We cannot afford to be careless with the spiritual aspect of the Boko Haram issue because the spirit that is working in them is not of God. So, what do we do. Nigerians must come together to pray and attack the devil.

“The word of God confirmed that anybody involved in killing, robbery, kidnapping etc are used by Satan. We cannot fight these people with the same weapon they are using. No natural weapon can stop Satan or the spirit in the Boko Haram sect but God can stop them. So, we must pray,” the CAC cleric submitted.

Prophet Abiara also called on the Federal Government to direct the states to pay the N18,000 minimum wage to alleviate the suffering of the masses.

He advised workers to be patient and always remember that the country belongs to us all.

“We are expected to cry to God for help on this issue. Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide always organises special prayers for the nation. We have just concluded one. More prayer sessions are already in the pipeline for the nation. For example, October 14, 2011, we are going to gather again in Ikeji Arakeji to lift up our voices to God for divine intervention in the affairs of the nation. Another is slated for November in Abuja and December in Lagos State because the word of God says: “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.”
