LG Aspiran Rolls Out Programme

A local government chairmanship aspirant in Odiolowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, has listed primary healthcare, education, security, child care initiatives and empowerment of inhabitants of the council area as his priorities if voted to office.

Honourable Gbolahan Ismail Idowu Irawo, an aspirant under the banner of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, stated this while unveiling his manifesto tagged “Peace”, at a campaign rally in Lagos, recently.

Irawo said he is particularly worried at the rate of youth restiveness and others social vices that the council area is known for, attributing the situation to high rate of unemployment among the youths in the area. He promised to curb the scourge through massive jobs creation.

On the state of infrastructure and education system in the council area, the aspirant said if elected, the council would witnessed rapid infrastructural development, adding that all the primary schools would be renovated to enable pupils learn in a conduicive environment. He promised to buy WAEC, NECO and JAMB forms and organise tutorials for secondary school students in the area.

The aspirant fondly called Ajaga by his supporters, called on the people of the council area to join him in his dream of making the local council a place of their dream by voting massively for him in the coming local government election.
