Team Manager of Lucky Babes, Lookman Bakare, has warned Collins Edwin football club to prepare for war when they clash next Tuesday in the Boska Cup quarter final scheduled to hold on the Astro turf pitch of the National Stadium in Lagos State
Bakare gave this warning when his team defeated Eleven Strikers who played 1-0 in this year’s Lagos State Challenge Cup in the Round of 16 last week.
“We reached the final in the last edition. This time, we will win the title to make our fans happy.
“ I respect Collin Edwins FC and other teams who have qualified for the quarter final but I want to warn our opponents to forget the cup,†he said.
Bakare said his team are not afraid of any team, boasting that no team can stop them from winning the title.
He urged their fans to continue to pray for them in order to win their remaining matches.
“We have come a long way, we have fought so many battles on our way to the quarter final, so we are ready for any team. I do not want to know how good other teams are, all I know is that we are good for the trophy,†he boasted.
Also on that day, Amazing Grace FC will confront Police Headquarter FC, Soccer Pro FC will play Olukoya Daniel FC while Kings United will take on Aries FC o.
