Two Accounts Clerks Arraigned For Stealing

Two accounts clerks, Amuche Njoku, 21 and Nkem Ijehor of a telecommunications company, Trade Forte Limited, have been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court for allegedly stealin N4.9 million belonging to the company.

In a two-count criminal charge number MIK/A/23/11 filed before the court by a police prosecuting officer, it was alleged that Amuche Njoku, 21 (female) and Nkem Ijehor, 27 (female), between October 2010 and May 2011, conspired to steal N4.9 million property of Okwudili Ajaegbo, who is the Managing Director of Trade Forte Limited and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 390 (6) (9) of the Criminal Code Cap 17 Volume II Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.

The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charge and were

consequently granted bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties, while the case was adjourned till 19 October, 2011 for trial.
