Heartland have promised to re-enact their massive win over Pat FC against Enyimba in Sundayâ€™s Federation Cup final billed for Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
The Owerri outfit thrashed Lagos-based amateur side, Pat FC 5-0 in a practice match at the Legacy pitch of the National Stadium, Lagos on Wednesday.
Stanley Ohawuchi started the goal feast in the first half before Bello Kofarmata and Chibuzor Ozurumba completed the routing with a brace each in the second half.
An elated Heartland coach, Ramson Madu told SuperSport.com that the outcome of the friendly encounter is an indication of what to expect against the Peoples Elephant.
â€œIt is a nice game. A match is a match; there is no small or big match. Just as we approached this match against Pat FC, that is how we are going to approach Enyimba on Sunday. The result tells what the story will be on Sunday,â€ the former Heartland player said.
Similarly, the captain of the side, Chinedu Efugh said that Enyimba are in trouble given the form his teammates exhibited in the practice match.
â€œYes, this is the kind of five-star performance you should expect on Sunday. We the players have made up our minds to win this trophy because we want to make names for ourselves,” he said.
