Team Manger of Handsworth, Tajudeen Olasukanmi, has said that he is not disturbed with the defeat his team suffered in the friendly matches played recently.

Kwara United humiliated Handsworth 5-1 before 3SC inflicted more pain on the team who were the last year Ogun FA Cup champions by defeating them 2-0 in their recent friendly matches played at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Olasunkanmi was satisfied with performance of his players but told P.M.Sports that their defeat was a wake up for his players to prepare for big challenge in this year’s Ogun State Challenge Cup.

Commenting on the two matches, Olasunkanmi said he is not particular about the defeats but focuses on the general performance of the new players that joined the club recently.

“Many people said it is over for Handsworth because we lost two matches to the Nigerian premier clubs. The defeats will help my players to wake up from their slumber and perform better in their subsequent matches,” he said.
