Despite the fact that some clubs have started preparation for Lagos Challenge Cup and other football competitions, New Generations Academy of Oshodi are yet to resume training session.
GSG gathered that the club management gave a long holiday to their players to allow them spend time with their loved ones during the festive period.
Coach of New Generations, Olowookere Bankole, confirmed to P.M.Sports that the club is still on holiday, adding that the management has fixed next Monday for the resumption date.
“We have informed all our players to resume on Monday and any player that fails to resume for training as instructed will be sacked. We wont take any excuse from the players, that is why we gave them a long holiday,†said Bankole, who said the team will play 2012 Lagos FA Cup.
