6th National Ram Charging Ends Sunday

Jalisco playground, Oshodi, Lagos will be agog on Sunday as the 6th National Ram Charging Championship rounds off.

Chairman, Ram Sport Promoters Association of Nigeria, Kayode Adu told P.M.Sports that he is impressed with the quality of rams that will take part in the championship, adding that the sport has come of age in Nigeria.

“I give glory to God that this edition of the competition has been a success with a large turnout of ram sports lovers every Sunday to see the best of ram charging at the Jalisco playground,” he said.

Secretary of the association, Alhaji Kayode Balogun, said prizes will be given to winners in all categories in the final.

A member of the association, whose ram crashed out in the first round of the competition, Toyosi Oyekan, said that he has been taking part in the tourney for the past three years without reaching the final.

Oyekan said that he is disappointed with the poor performance of his ram.

He, however, commeded the organisers of the tourney for the annual sport event.

“The ram sport competition is very interesting and fun filled,” he said.
