Lagos FA Appoints Media Officer

The Lagos State Football Association, LSFA, yesterday, in Lagos appointed a seasoned sports journalist, Bunmi Ogunyale, as its Media Officer.

The appointment, according to the LSFA boss, Seyi Akinwunmi, which takes immediately, is to further boost the association’s relationship with the public.

Ogunyale is a Bachelor of Arts graduate from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. He has worked with a number of media organisations in the country including the Nigerian Tribune, National Daily newspapers, Soccer Star, Nigerian Compass and P.M.NEWS/A.M.SPORTS. Ogunyale is happily married.

Meanwhile, the FA has set aside N1million as prize money for the eventual winners of this year’s FA Cup.

The LSFA urged all clubs interested in the competition to pick their registration forms at its secretariat at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos.

The association also enjoined prospective clubs in the state to make sure they affiliate with the state FA to enable them participate in the FA Cup competition.

The LSFA Chairman, Seyi Akinwunmi, said the prize money is to further boast football development at the grassroots level.
