Technical Adviser of Kaduna United, Dahiru Sadi, has boasted that his team will surprise Sharks of Port Harcourt when both sides clash this weekend in one of the Nigeria Premier League, NPL, ties.
Kaduna United beat Warri Wolves 2-1 in their midweek game at the Kaduna Township Stadium on Wednesday and Sadi believes the victory will motivate his boys to shock Sharks. The former Nigerian player said the victory is a morale booster to his lads going into Matchday 15 against Sharks.
“The victory has given us good morale to face Sharks at the weekend. I see my wards pulling a surprise win against Sharks.
“This victory will boost our confidence in subsequent matches,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sadi said that Kaduna United were better than their opponents, Warri Wolves, in their midweek tie.
Striker Buhari Jafar got a goal in each half for Kaduna United, while the visitors pulled one back in the 74th minute through forward Gift Atulewa.
Jafar’s brace has taken his goal haul to six in the 13-week old elite league.
Sadi told SuperSport.com that his wards played better and clearly deserved to win.
“Both sides played very well but we’re the better of the sides and truly deserved to win,” he said.
Kaduna United now have 13 points from a possible 39.
