Former Nigerian international, Emmanuel Amuneke, has warned Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, not to place his hopes on the home-based players alone in the campaign for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
The former Zamalek of Egypt and F.C. Barcelona player advised his former Eagles teammate to rather beam his searchlight beyond the shores of the country while looking for players that will don the country’s colours.
“We are decieving ourselves if we expect the home-based players alone to play for the country,” he added.
