Juventus skipper Alessandro del Piero says they’ll take on AC Milan also in the league after their Coppa Italia semifinal triumph on Tuesday night.

Del Piero was on the scoresheet in the tie’s extra-time 2-2 draw, which saw Juve win the tie 4-3 on aggregate.

He said: “We are happy for the next round. Milan and Juventus have always done and will have more good games because they are two great clubs. We will fight on both fronts until the end.

“In the championship we will give AC Milan a hard time until the last game.

“Fortunately, tonight we were able to score the decisive goal (through Mirko Vucinic).”

Meanwhile, Del Piero’s agent has cooled talk linking the Italian legend with a move to Arsenal in the summer.

The 37-year-old has confirmed he will be leaving Juventus at the end of the season and there have been strong rumours linking him with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

The move would be a surprise as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger would prefer to sign young up and coming players not ones coming towards the end of their careers, but Del Piero continues to be linked.

QPR have also been linked but his agent Stefano Del Piero says there have been no offers as yet, although he has not ruled out a future move to the capital.

“There’s not much for me to say about this because it seems premature to even discuss it,” he told TuttoJuve. “There’s a long way to go before the end of the season and there are some big games coming up.

“It’s possible that there is interest [from Arsenal and QPR], but we’re not aware of it.

“Our position at the moment is that we are willing to listen to any offers, but we’re not going to let it get in the way of Alessandro’s performances for the Bianconeri.”
