Swaziland Back Royal Leopards


Swaziland showed great support for CAF Confederation Cup representatives, Royal Leopard, in their fund-raising campaign as over E30 000 was collected during the 10km walk in Manzini yesterday.

The police side is raising funds to enable them attend the second leg match against Tunisia’s Club Africain in the last 16 stage of the CAF Confederation match.

The team need close to E300 000 to honour the second leg clash.The exact amount raised was E30 793.

The team staged a 10km fund-raising walk from Matata Moneni Spar via Manzini bypass road to Jubilee Park Manzini where business people and police stations made their pledges and also donated cash.

Crime Stop Security pledged E5 000 while police officers working under the Mbabane Police Headquarters pledged to fork out E2 000.
