Former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Rasheed Ladoja has held a secret meeting with the immediate past governor of the state, Adebayo Alao-Akala, in the latter’s house at Bodija Area of Ibadan, capital of Oyo State.
P.M.NEWS gathered that in attendance were the Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Jumoke Akinjide, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Burundi, Taofeek Arapaja and a former Minister of Sport, Professor Taoheed Adedoja.
According to our source, Senator Ladoja arrived Alao-Akala’s residence about 4 p.m. yesterday and left after 7p.m. But details of the meeting, which lasted for about three hours were unknown, as none of the attendees spoke with the press at the end of the meeting.
However, investigations revealed that the meeting was to perfect the return of Senator Ladoja into Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
One of Ladoja’s aides said that PDP’s efforts are geared towards taking back Oyo State from Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), stressing that the party will leaving to chance to ensure that 2015 election goes PDP’s way.
He said: “Ladoja is fully back in PDP and very soon his return would be officially announced by the leadership of the party.”
