Ahead of Sunday’s FIFA FUTSA 5-Aside World Cup qualifying match between Nigeria and Gabon, Coach of Nigeria’s team, Oladunni Oyakale has called on residents in Lagos state to come out in their thousands to support the national team.
The match is scheduled to take place inside the Gymnasium of the National Institute for Sports, NIS, National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
Speaking ahead of the match, Oyakale said his players are fit and battle ready to record victory for the country.
He said: “We are set for Sunday’s match and I would implore the Lagosians to support the boys. They need the full support of the fans.
“The Street Soccer tournament and the 5-Aside competition held in Lagos have given our players enough experience of what to expect in the tie with Gabon.”
This will be the second time that Nigeria will be taking part in the 5-Aside tournament.
