Fashola Cup: Blessing Estate Coach Relishes Team’s Success

Chief Coach of Blessing Estate Football Club, Michael Ishola, has commended his team for their 3-0 victory over Alogba Estate in the opening match of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola Soccer Championship.

The competition is ongoing at the Keme Balogun playground, Ikorodu, Lagos.

Ishola who spoke to P.M.Sports after the match said the victory against their opponents has sent a warning signal to other teams in the tournament.

He boasted that Blessing Estate Football Club are a formidable team, adding that no team that can stop them from winning the title.

“I have told my players not to be carried away with the victory because we have a long way to go. Our target is to win the cup, which I believe is achievable,” he said.

Match Cordinator, Godday Ezezobor, who was impressed with the opening match, commended the officiating and organisation of the tournament.

Other result of the match played in the opening day saw Keme Balogun FC losing 0-2 to Makbet Academy. Action continue this Saturday when Ilaje FC confront Insurance FC, while Ajegunle FC will play Abe Igi Anu FC on Sunday.
