Killing Of Aide: 'Oshiomhole Must Ensure Justice'

Lagos-based lawyer and estate consultant, Chief Gabriel Giwa-Amu, has tasked the Edo State governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to do everything possible to find the killers of his Principal Private Secretary, Comrade Olaitan Oyerinde.

In his message of condolence to the governor on the death of his aide, Giwa-Amu declared that the true test of Oshiomhole’s “gallantry and doggedness as governor of Edo State” lies in his ability to bring the murderers of Olaitan to justice.

“I do not doubt the usefulness of your purposeful government. I do not doubt that you are a great statesman. It is unequivocal that you are the finest governor that Edo State has ever had, but the true test of these qualities lies not in the words used to describe you, but in your ability to bring the murderers of your Principal Secretary to justice or take justice to their doorstep.

“Please, be reminded of the preface of Ngugi Wa Thiongo’s book, “Weep Not Child” where he evoked emotions with these words, “Weep not child, weep not my darling…
