A 3rd Degree Black Belt holder in Kung Fu, Samuel Linus, believes that he has what it takes to win a gold medal at the 2012 National Sports Festival, holding in Lagos in November.
Linus, who represented Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area at the just concluded Lagos State Ibile Games, said that though he won a silver medal at the competition, he aspires to win a gold medal for the state at the Sports Festival.
“My aim is to win gold at the National Sports Festival. Although, I won a silver medal at Ibile Games and a bronze medal at last year’s edition of the National Sports Festival, I have the confidence of winning gold this time around,” said Linus.
He noted that with rigorous trainings and determination he is sure of achieving his aim.
