An Agege-based Islamic gospel musician, Alhaja Modinat Abeni Jimoh a.k.a Eni Ire (Good person) has completed work on her maiden album titled: Eni-Ire.
The budding artiste, who concluded her studio sessions last week, said the album is a six-tracker that will be released on the label of Hasolad Music Production, Ojo Road, Ajegunle, Lagos State.
“Tracks in the album which will be released before this year’s Ramadan period include Ope mi o tan, Ba mi se, Ori mi ma sun, Allahu, Laila, Wa sa nu fun e ru re and the title track Eni Ire,” Alhaja Modinat Abeni stated with enthusiasm.
She said further that she would always be grateful to the boss of Hasolad Music Production, Alhaji Dauda Ganiyu, who made it possible for her to achieve her dream, revealing that she had her childhood days at Ibadan where she was born in the late 70s.
Before joining Alhaji Quamardeen Yusuf Odunlami a.k.a Ayeloyun’s band in 2007, as a back-up singer, she was the leader of the Ibadan-based Sunmibare Golden Voice of Allah which she personally founded after her education at Orogun Grammar School, Agbowo, Ibadan, and training at Schladex Stitches (fashion) School, Bashorun, Ibadan. She is presently reading Economics at the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo.
The chairman, Hasolad Music Production, Alhaji Daudu Ganiyu, whose stable had produced star artistes like King Saheed Osupa, Quarmardeen Ayeloyun and Alfa Buhari Musa, said his company has a musical standard every artistes interested must meet, and that Modinat Abeni was able to scale the hurdle.
