CPLSunday Akor,the Benue State-born hip hop singer popularly known as Supa Sunny, who is serving at the Lagos State Police Command, Shogunle, and recently dedicated a single to the Nigerian Police titled Police protects lives and property, has received an award from the Igwe of Odibi Kingdom, Enugu, Enugu State.
Chief G.O. Nwoke of Anamike Nigeria Limited who represented the Igwe, praised the Nigerian Police Force for nurturing such a talented star.
He was later presented with an award as the best Police Hip hop star of the year, at an impressive award presentation held recently.
In his response, Supa Sunny thanked the Igwe for the honour, saying he wants to promote the image of the Nigerian Police through music and that he is working on his next album which will feature super stars like Slim Joe, Askari, the Police fuji singer, Ibro of Zule Zoo fame and Wizkid.
