The third edition of U-17 Ade Dosunmu football competition will kick off on Sunday at the Teachers Training College playground, Ifako-jaiye, Lagos.
Twenty-four teams will feature in the tournament that will last a month.
In the fixtures made available to P.M.Sports, Mighty Football Club of Mile 2 will battle Puma FC of Ojo in the opening match while the second match of the day will be played between Alaro FC of Epe and Beachland FC of Apapa.
Chairman, Organising Committee, Lekan Salako expressed gratitude to the cup donor, who was a PDP Governor aspirant in the last Lagos Governorship election, for his contribution to football development in Lagos.
He disclosed that the cup donor and some members of his party have promised to grace the opening match.
“The opening match will be a colourful one as we are expecting the cup donor and his friends to be the invited guests that will grace the opening match. We want to assure the fans maximum security during and after the game” he said.
