As Glo Soccer Academy, tagged West Africa’s biggest soccer reality TV show, gathers momentum, thousands of youths across the country have either registered or are making enquiries about the registration process in order to meet the deadline and  be eligible for screening in different cities across Nigeria.

The cities lined up for the screening are Benin, Enugu, Port-Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos. The excitement among the youth is not unconnected with the passion an average Nigerian youth has for the game of football coupled with the abundant talents in the country.

The Globacom Soccer Academy was launched recently by Globacom and is expected to discover young talents, teach and groom them to become world-class footballers who can compete with their contemporaries anywhere in the world and shine like trillion stars. Screening is expected to commence at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin on 23 October before moving to other cities.
