WAP, NAPIP Team Up On Child Abuse

Wale Adenuga Productions, producers of Super Story and National Agency for Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and Other Related Matters, NAPIP, are set to create awareness on child abuse.

The project, according to Chairman of the production outfit, Chief Wale Adenuga, said the awareness campaign is in form of a television drama titled Itohan (a call to action).

Adenuga said the series, which will star Tamara Eteimo, the 20011 winner of The Next Movie Star, is based on a true life story of various Nigerians who have been victims of child abuse, human trafficking and prostitution.

Arinze Orakwe, Head, Media and Communications, NAPIP is happy at Wale Adenuga’s decision to use outfit for the campaign, saying the series will go a long way in educating the public on the evils of child abuse and prostitution.

Shot in Nigeria, Italy and some African countries, the drama will be aired on NTA Network, WAP TV Network, and many other local channels.
